Hazlewood Castle Weddings – Hazlewood Castle Wedding Photography

Jennifer & Alex – Thursday 8th August

A warm clear day, a calm bride and a beautiful venue: what a great way to start their big day.

Jennifer and Alex were married at Silcoates Church which is set within the grounds of Silcoates School Wakefield. A blue Mustang was the choice of transport for the bride today (although I think maybe it was more for Alex). This was a very special ceremony as many of their family and friends played keys roles, especially Jennifer’s Dad: he was playing the fabulous baby grand piano alongside the choir and the band.

After a few pictures outside the old school we travelled to Hazelwood Castle for their wedding breakfast. The Mustang looked (and sounded) fab, as it travelled up the long drive and into the court yard where the waiting guests had already started on the champagne!

Jennifer and Alex had allowed lots of time for photography, it was very important for them to capture as much of the day as possible, but also to have unhurried time together for their personal photography. They were top rate models, and with them both beaming from ear to ear all day it was a pleasure to be their photographers!

All too soon it was time to head into the Great Hall for the wedding breakfast. A lovely meal was followed by entertaining speeches from Jennifer’s Dad, the Groom and his Best Man.

As the day turned into evening and as the last of the sun faded away, we took the opportunity to spend a little more time with our bride and groom before the DJ called them back to the Great Hall to take the floor for their first dance and a very good dance it was, well done guys your guests were suitably impressed…

We would like to thank all the staff at Hazelwood Castle for making Jennifer and Alex’s day perfect, and for looking after us.
