John & Alison – Hazlewood Castle Wedding Pictures

The Wedding…

Hazlewood Castle near York was the setting today for the wedding of John & Alison.

We arrived for Alison’s bridal prep on one of the warmest days of the summer. The temperature was in the high 20s and the hotel was extremely warm, but that can’t stop
the ladies looking beautiful. So with careful timing and leaving getting dressed into their gowns until the last minute, we kept everyone looking cool and calm.

Alison and John had a civil ceremony in the Castle followed by a blessing in the beautiful St Leonard’s Church, which is situated in the Castle grounds.

The sun was high and with little or no cloud cover there was very little shade, but that didn’t stop the wedding party having fun whilst we photographed the formal
pictures… there was plenty of champagne to quench their thirst.

Alison & John’s personal photography time was so relaxed, the weather was great and with plenty of time there was no need to miss any of the great gardens and vistas
that Hazlewood is renowned for. Alison was having a ball, and was in full posing mode, much to the amusement of John, who was more than happy to watch his new bride
enjoying the limelight.

A lovely meal was enjoyed and a great round of speech’s rounded off the afternoons celebrations.
We would like to thank Hazelwood Castle for helping to make Alison & John’s day perfect and for looking after us to well as always.
