Claire & Rob – Hotel du Vin – Harrogate
The Hotel du Vin in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate was our destination today for Rob & Claire’s wedding. This stunning Hotel has been created in the 1930’s from a row of eight Georgian-styled houses.
Claire’s bridal prep was in one of the hotels fantastic bridal suites, his and hers roll tops baths, magnificent views and the biggest bed ever… WOW!
The bridesmaids were all but ready and were soon helping a very calm and relaxed Claire into her wedding gown, nothing was rushed and so with plenty of time everyone had a chance to chill and sip a little champagne before we headed down stairs to her waiting guests.
The Henley Vineyards was the setting for the ceremony, a subtle coloured, low lit room that felt very special with its huge Christmas tree, and the low winter sun light.
The day was cold and sunny so with haste we made the most of the short winter light and headed outside for both formal and personal pictures. The Christmas lights across the road in the park enticed us to head out and use the final light of the day for some stunning shots.
Finally back in the warmth of the hotel and it was soon time for the guests to sit down to a sumptuous meal, followed by an even more sumptuous dessert… Chef had made desert to Claire’s very own recipe… the rest is history hey Rob?
Great speeches followed from the boys and then it was time for everyone to party downstairs in the Snug.
We would like to thank all the staff at Hotel du Vin, for making Claire and Rob’s day perfect and for looking after so well.
